May 18, 2020The assignment consist of choosing two philosophies that support the importance of health care access to everyone despite their socioeconomic status. These two have to be described and compared. The paper should talk about the differences in communities based on their SES and how health care inequities are more common in lower class communities. The paper should talk about the outcomes of poor health care and how it affects the individual and the community. The paper should have an introduction, then the significance/background,(in this case the significance and background are based on the need that I found for more health care access in the community of Woodhaven NY. I found that 21% of the residents do not have health insurance there is more information showing a need for health care access on the community health profile that I have attached. you should use the information from the NYC community health profile. The paper also should include literature as references (15-20 references) and support. (The literature should be cited and described). The paper should also state the findings based on the research done and should mention how this issue has impacted the need of health care access in the community of Woodhaven. The paper needs to be done in APA there is no minimum of pages as long as the paper is accurate and clearly states the argument and there is enough supporting evidence to make the point. The title of the paper can change that is up to the writer, as long as it remains in question format. The point of the paper is to prove that every person should be entitled to receive quality health care despite their income or socioeconomic status. One of the philosophies I had in mind to use was Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, arguing that health is a safety need that every individual should have access too. what happens if that person does not meet that need? etc.
