May 19, 2020So my topic would be college tuition cause students to go into debt and affect their livelihood. My argument would verify a way to prevent college students from going into debt is by making college free for students. 1) The take-home salary of these college graduates will be less than if college was not free because of all the taxes that will be required to fund the “free” college education. (Someone has to pay for it, right? Who?) 2) What is the benefit to those who after high school decide to enter a trade (plumber, electrician, seamstress, etc.)? Will they receive special funding from the government in another area such as funding for the tools they will need to start their trade? (Check out the prices on all the specialty tools a mechanic needs, for example.) While “free” education is definitely a pie-in-the-sky idea, you’ll want to narrow your focus and will need to address how this funding is supposed to work. You’ll also want to examine other countries that provide free college tuition. How do those countries fund it? Are these countries the same demographically as the United States? I’d read recently that one of these tiny European countries that provides free college tuition was now struggling to stay afloat financially due to the massive wave of Arab immigration into their nation and those taking advantage of the “free” education. Find supporting details on why college tuition should be free MLA STYLE This is the most important draft you will write; therefore, it will need to be the full three pages if you want it graded. NO EXCEPTIONS.
