Discuss (one unique) portrait (portrayal) of Jesus that is found in each of the four gospels. You will write about ALL FOUR GOSPELS. Next, give evidence from each gospel to support this portrait (e.g., In the gospel of Luke, Jesus is portrayed as . . ./ Luke’s Jesus is shown to be . . . by the way he . . ., etc.). Give a minimum of four examples from each gospel to validate your portrait claim (be sure to include the Scripture references—e.g., Matt 1:1). Interact with each of these scripturesto show how they illustrate your portrait. In the final section of the paper, discuss the application of EACH of these portraits individually for modern church andsociety.(Example: If Jesus cared for the poor, so should we as the Church.)The best approach to structuring your paper is to divide it into five sections, one for each gospel and a section in which you apply these pictures to the modern church and society. Each section should be about a page inlength.The total length should be 4.5-6 pages long. Use the Bible and Gundry textbook. All sources/quotes used that are not your own must be CITED within the body of the paper. NO WEBSITES may be used! Use direct quotes sparingly and put them in your own words as much as possible.
