These questions must be answer in the essay ,you’ll want to consider the ways in which the world has changed in your subject area (e.g. politically, technologically, demographically, etc.) over time. What were the major breakthrough moments? Why were these moments so important? What was the connection between the various turning points? You must be clear in your thesis statement what changes you’ll be discussing and why they were so important in shaping the world. Make sure to write chronologically, as it would make little sense to start with recent changes and work backwards. Concisely make a case why each moment was so important and to cite specific and accurate examples from that moment to support your claim. There may only be 3-4 turning points that you think are the most important. The important part is to support your thesis with specific evidence and to show me any connections that exist between your main points. Must have at least ONE PRIMARY SOURCE and TWO SCHOLARLY SECONDARY SOURCES in the body of your essay. Avoid non-scholarly sources such as wikipedia.com, historylearningsite.com, about.com, etc.
