I will leave it to you to pick the particular issue/campus or campuses. You will submit a draft of this paper for a one-on-one meeting before writing the final version.The paper is to examine some contemporary issue and think about the motivation, ideology, organizational motifs, styles, rhetoric and bases for alliances (or no alliances). Thus i want you to think about the heart of the past era of student protests and compare to the present. This gives you an opportunity to think about the present and remember that the students protesting now are your age and might well be you or could be you.
