May 30, 2020A position paper is approximately a one-page text, through which you present and analyze your policy upon the issue of the debate based on the role you have been assigned to play. Therefore, your position papers should be written on the basis of your country’s policy upon the topic areas. To make matters simpler and clearer to you, we advise you to separate each one of your position papers in three paragraphs; one for your introduction to the topic and some fundamental information you have collected on it based upon both the study guides and your personal research, one on your country’s policy (national and international actions that your country has taken so far, relevant conventions to which your country is a contracting party, resolutions that have been adopted, relevant official statements that have been issued, etc.), and a last one where you will develop some proposals towards the solution of the issue under examination by your side.
