Essay Assignment: Analyzing the Rhetorical Features of a Text In this paper, you will analyze the rhetorical situation of a text of your choosing. You might want to choose something publicly available (already published) that represents a piece of polished writing so that you know the author(s) has finished making revisions and has had time to think through important rhetorical choices. Alternatively, you might want to choose something written for an academic, personal, work, or other context. Start by reading the text carefully and rhetorically.
