For this assignment pretend that you are a carbon atom on a fatty acid chain in a triglyceride in the adipose tissue of a person who is about to start exercising (See the figure). It is your destiny to be used as a fuel source to power this exercise bout. Describe your journey as you are broken up from the triglyceride, leave the adipose tissue, travel to the muscle, are used to power the exercise, and then ultimately leave the body. Please use the name of relevant enzymes and metabolic intermediate molecules (ie, Acetyl-CoA) that you encounter, or even become, during your trip. Remember, when you leave the body, you are still a carbon atom, but no longer a part of a triglyceride, you are now a part of a different molecule.
