The video looks at a 1968 experiment by Jane Elliot on third grade students in Iowa, USA. Twenty years later, students who took part in this experiment are asked to reflect on it. Then a similar experiment is conducted on adult prison employees. 2. After watching the video, post a message to the discussion forum in response to ONE (1) of the following questions: How does Elliot’s experiments with brown- and blue-eyed children and adults relate to the topic of race and ethnicity? What do you think about this experiment? Is it an acceptable experiment to perform on children? Why or why not? In your opinion, has anything changed in almost 50 years since Elliot’s original experiment? Has anything stayed the same?
