June 16, 2020This is question 5 for IB TOK 2017 Given access to the same facts, how is it possible that there can be disagreement between experts in a discipline? Develop your answer with reference to two areas of knowledge. This is another PT with reference to ‘facts’; it also hints at relativism in the way we interpret those facts. Those answering this question will also need to think about what constitutes an ‘expert’, and whether experts in different areas of knowledge have a similar relationship with knowledge and ideas.
