From the readings and your own research, discuss the key players (people, groups, or states) involved in mobilizing support for the document, their respective motives or expectations, and the document’s impact on the future of USFP in the region. In addition to the positive intent of the document, historians see problems with the way the text was written and interpreted. Reading the Balfour Declaration through the lens of a foreign policy analyst, can you identify what some of these problems were or would later become?
