What is Literacy? It is more than the ability to read and write, it is our competence to communicate in a certain context with a specific medium. What is an Autoethnography? An ethnography is an approach to qualitative research where you observe ways a specific population approaches a matter and you analyze it. “Auto” means yourself. So an Autoethnography is an observation and analysis of how you approach a certain matter, in this case a matter of your own literacy.
