June 26, 2020The elements of a crime are different from the elements of law. The textbook, in Chapter 2, has defined both the elements of a crime and the elements of law. In this assignment, you are to explain the importance of the elements of crime. You must discuss the role of intent within the crime. How does intent affect the act? The assignment is: Write a two (2) to three (3) page paper in APA format comparing the elements of law versus the elements of a crime. In the paper, you will discuss each element of a law and of a crime. Then you will discuss what makes an action a crime? What would be the significant differences between a crime and civil violation?
