How do the flaws affect his or her choices and actions?

Evaluate the character DESDEMONA for the themes of honesty, deception and love. Drama Character Report (Othello): Students must write a 200-word analysis of a character. The analysis should consider that each individual in the play has a flaw in his or her character (i.e. pride, naivete, selfishness, etc.). Focus your analysis on what your character’s major flaws would be. How do the flaws affect his or her choices and actions? Does he ultimately recognize where he went wrong? Does he suggest any ownership of the consequences of his actions? Your analysis should propose what you think the playwright wants readers/viewers to think about your character, how themes of the play are delivered through the character, and most importantly, what specific quotes, passages, events, or relationships involving the character help to decipher the playwright’s message.
