June 29, 2020This final report aims to enable students to consolidate their learning for this course through demonstrating the synthesis of learnings from this course and the development of a sustained and well-substantiated argument. Students will be given the choice of a vaccine that has recently been added to a national immunisation program, and the country whose program it was added to. Students will then describe the objectives for inclusion of that vaccine, the processes required to gain inclusion in that country’s program, the method of program delivery, the methods used to monitor the impacts of the vaccine, and the impact to date. Students will provide a critical analysis of the strengths and limitations of these components. This assignment will require an interpretation of the complex country and disease-specific issues. Further details about the requirements for this assessment will be provided at the commencement of the course.
