June 30, 2020Proposed PICOT Topic: Implementation of a simulation lab for RN training will increase the skill and confidence levels of RNs, therefore increasing patient safety. Providing simulated lab exercises are a way to offer training in a safe, non-threatening environment, which can greatly increase the RN’s feeling of preparedness when faced with scenarios that are rarely or seldom encountered. The cumulative effect of simulation training is saved lives and improved patient condition.
