Write a 1,400- to 1,750-word paper evaluating and applying contemporary views of leadership The next step after analysis of contemporary views of leadership is evaluation. ­Critical evaluation is done by applying a specific lens or set of criteria to reach reasoned judgments and articulate clear conclusions based on credible evidence. You will critically evaluate by using chosen criteria and critical thinking to make judgments and reach conclusions about the application of contemporary leadership models to a specific context in which you are the leader. Use the same theories you analyzed in Week 5. Include the following in your paper: Identify and briefly describe a current scenario you face as a leader. Considering that scenario, identify a set of criteria you will use in your evaluation. Evaluate the extent to which each contemporary theory meets the criteria you have chosen. Describe your final conclusions (summary statements) from your critical evaluation. Relate your conclusions to your personal leadership practices (i.e. which of your leadership practices do/do not align with the conclusions you drew?) Use a minimum of five references to support your evaluation. References should be peer-reviewed sources from the University Library. Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
