Look at the role of Religion and/or tradition in these texts. In what way are these concepts crucial in shapping the characters’ lives? How do they play a role in the plot or messageof the text? Are these concepts challenged or re-imagined and why? The essay has to include: 1. An introductory paragraph containing an arguable thesis. 2. Body paragraph that each contain a TOPIC SENTENCE and TEXTUAL EVIDENCE to suppotr and develop the topic sentence. Textual evidence mist contain citations, wether quoted or paraphrased. 3. A conclusion, which restates your thesis and bring your essay to a close.
