Undergraduate Degree Level – Harvard Referencing. With reference to the theories and practice of competitive destination management strategy developed throughout the module, compare and contrast the ways in which specific successful destinations have created a position of competitive advantage. The aim of the assignments is to analyse and evaluate aspects of the strategic management process in relation to specific tourism destinations. Students will be assessed equally on their ability to carry out an independent piece of research into their chosen areas and on their ability to review current literature and opinion on the topic, the standard of literacy and adherence to scholarly conventions.
