June 13, 2020The objective here is to use theories and research to determine the most effective and persuasive anti-drinking and driving campaign. You need to find one print ad which talks about the non-physical damage in relation to drinking and driving. There will be a total of 4 stimuli in your paper for comparison. Therefore, you would need to use the original print ad you find + 3 derived versions of the original. You will need to create the derived versions on their own. You will also need to re-craft the slogans/message of the ad basis the table below. Please think about the following questions. 1. First, you need to find one original print ad (real ad, emphasizing non-physical damage/loss in social marketing/advertising) and then create 3 other derived versions of the original. The original ad could be positive or negative. Read up on as many articles as you can, within the realm of Marketing/Advertising, to better understand the research being conducted in this area. 2. Based on the theories that you have learned (plus the extra literature review you will conduct), you are required to conduct a study with a 2 (message valence: positive vs. negative) x 2 (type of non-physical damage: *** vs. ***) factorial design, please develop two hypotheses for this study and also provide strong arguments for each hypothesis. Make sure that your reasoning flows from theory or provide evidence to support your arguments; 3. You also need to have a conclusion and appropriate references/appendices.
