A major employer with Blue Cross Blue Shield in the area has sent many patients to the clinic. In fact, they comprise about 30% of the patient load. The employer is changing the policy and raising the deductible for employees from $1000 per person to $2500 per person. The following are expected to remain the same for the foreseeable future: Fixed Costs, Annual Allocation of Investment Costs, Overhead, Desired Profit and Variable Cost per Unit.
